THE DEVELOPMENT STORY
When Modwell’s founding team spent time on and around university campuses in Texas, they kept hearing the same complaint: housing options were either too expensive, too run-down, or too far from everything that mattered. Most developments hadn’t been updated since the 1990s. Students were paying premium prices for outdated amenities and zero community.
Campus View Residences is the answer to that gap. Every decision — from the building orientation to the placement of study nooks to the selection of finishes — was made with the lived experience of the resident in mind. Partnerships with UT Austin student councils shaped the community programming. Local Austin artists contributed to the public art throughout the building’s ground level.
This isn’t just a real estate play. It’s a genuine investment in the people who will build Austin’s next chapter.
